FREE SESSIONS AND POSTER EXHIBITION TIMES
The number of submitted abstracts was 3800. Our Chairmen Prof. Karl-Göran Thorngren (Scientific & Educational Committee) and Dr. Manuel Cassiano Nevel (Local Organising Committee) worked extensively on finalising the scientific programme.
As for previous congresses the abstracts have been assessed by a group of scientific evaluators suggested by the national associations. In total 74 scientific evaluators have been working on the EFORT 2005 scientific evaluation process for Lisbon. Each abstract was evaluated by two scientific evaluators and graded according to a scheme comprising four categories, each with grades from 1 to 5.
Due to the high quality of the submitted abstracts and the limited number of free sessions, there will be quite a number of posters in Lisbon. Please check the respective section to learn when you are up to present (free session) or exhibit (poster) your abstract.
