For organisational reasons, the Scientific Committee for the EFORT ExMEx Berlin has decided to postpone this meeting.
Discussions are currently ongoing about the inclusion of the ExMEx Forum in an EFORT Congress, in order to open the subject to a larger audience and to underline the importance of navigation in orthopaedic surgery. |
| Visiting Fellowship: EFORT FOUNDATION in cooperation with Zimmer GmbH |

The EFORT FOUNDATION will support up to 40 visiting fellowships in cooperation with Zimmer GmbH during 2010. The visiting fellowships allow young people a period of 4-6 weeks in a clinic, department or institution in another European country. Each grant consists of 3’000 EUR.

| 1st EFORT-Asia Symposium |

The successful conclusion of the 1st EFORT-Asia Symposium marked an important beginning for further collaboration between European and Asian orthopaedic surgeons. This inaugural symposium, which was held on 28 October 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand, comprised a distinguished faculty from Europe and Asia and drew more than 300 participants from the Asia Pacific region.
