Call for applications to host the 9th EFORT congress in 2009 ended

As informed in our e-Newsletter in January, EFORT's General Secretary, Prof. Frantz Langlais (F), has invited all National Societies to apply to host the 9th EFORT congress in their country. EFORT has received six full applications from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Spain and Turkey which were reviewed by the Executive Committee during their meeting in early February.

The Venue Committee is going to visit the countries in the coming weeks and will invite them to present their bids during the General Assembly. The final decision will be taken by vote of the EFORT Delegates in Lisbon.
