EFORT Open Reviews



EFORT Open Reviews is the official journal of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) and is published  in partnership with the British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery (BESBJS). EOR and the British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery (BESBJS) provides high quality instructional review articles on all aspects of orthopaedics and traumatology.

EFORT Open Reviews is a fully open access online journal. It is an authoritative resource for trainees and supports practising orthopaedic surgeons in keeping informed about the latest clinical and scientific advances. One print issue featuring selected papers is published during the EFORT annual congress.

The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Pierre Hoffmeyer from the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG).

Starting November 1st 2020 all articles submitted will be charged 1500 Euros upon notice of acceptance and before publication in EFORT Open reviews.

EFORT Open Reviews is included in Google Scholar and the directory of Open Access journals, and is indexed in PubMed with full-text provided in PubMed Central and therefore included in the PubMed database (PMC).


All manuscript submissions should be made online at the EFORT Open Reviews ScholarOne Manuscripts site: https://mc04.manuscriptcentral.com/eor. Please review the manuscript guidelines before submitting your paper.
