23rd EFORT annual Congress

Welcome to Lisbon!

On behalf of the Executive Committee and the Science Committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 23rd EFORT Congress in Lisbon, Portugal from 22 to 24 June 2022.

The annual meeting of EFORT is the largest platform for European Orthopaedics to exchange knowledge and experience within Europe but also with colleagues from other parts of the world.

The main theme of the Lisbon Congress in 2022 will be Modern Patient Needs - Challenges And Solutions In O&T.

We are very much looking forward to meeting with you again!

Abstract submission opens soon

The abstract submission system will open on 15 September 2021.

Abstracts must correspond to previously unpublished work. Submission is defined by an initial branching to differentiate Clinical Research vs. Basic Science abstracts and Systematic Reviews.

Submitters also need to define the type of presentation i.e. Free Paper (Podium), Clinical Report (Podium) or Poster (Paper Wall Posters) wished.

There is no restriction on the number of abstracts submitted by a unique author or research group, but each registered participant will have a maximum of 6 abstracts (3 oral presentations & 3 posters) accepted.

Save the date for the upcoming EFORT Webinar

This EFORT Webinar on Periprosthetic Fractures of the Femur (Hip): Diagnosis and Treatment will take place on Monday 27 September at 19:00 CET.

It will be chaired by Enrique Guerado (Spain) and Luigi Zagra (Italy).

The objectives of this webinar are:

  • Understanding the issues and challenges that need to be addressed for the appropriate diagnosis, classification and indications;
  • Selection of the surgical approach;
  • Tips and tricks of the surgical technique;
  • Case-based discussion of decision-making.

CME Accreditation: EFORT has applied for 1 CME credit by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

This free of-charge webinar is organised by EFORT independently of any commercial educational support.
