23rd EFORT annual Congress

Confronting Expertise during the Interactive Expert Exchange (IEE) sessions

The Interactive Expert Exchange (IEE) sessions are the equivalent of an open discussion within a group of experienced specialists confronting each other about their daily practice around highly complex situations.

In the upcoming EFORT annual Congress 2022 diverse approaches, new treatment options and precise individual solutions from senior practitioners will be deeply analysed for the use of intramedullarry nailing in femur and tibia; as well as when facing complex tibial pilon fractures or cases of shoulder girdle trauma.

Extensive discussions of all treatments available combined with several rounds of audience-voting will aim at a high involvement of the attendees who will need to sustain or reject each procedure presented by replying to the question “What would you do?”.

Join the controversy and challenge the experts!

The IEEs can be attended by any participant fully-registered for the EFORT Congress without any extra fee to be paid. The registration for the 23rd EFORT Congress in Lisbon will open on 10 January 2022.

On Tuesday 14 December 2021 at 19:00 CET, the EFORT Industry Collaborative Webinar

It will be demonstrated how structural allografts can be applied in advanced bone loss in shoulder and elbow surgery. We will share the clinical efficiency and outcome in several cases.

The presenter will show that allografts can be used as successfully as autografts in glenoid augmentation surgery, avoiding the issue of donor morbidity. Furthermore, we will present that the graft selection is important. The experiences using different techniques with same grafts in several cases will be demonstrated and discussed.

This Webinar is organised with the support of LifeNet Health in collaboration with EFORT and hosted by M-Events.
