On Monday 25 March 2024 at 19:00 CET, the EFORT Webinar on Instability In Total Hip Arthroplasty will focus on dislocation in total hip arthroplasty.
This event will be chaired by Rocco D'Apolito, Italy and José Cordero-Ampuero, Spain.
The objectives of this webinar are:
- To identify risk factors for instability and prevent it during primary hip arthroplasty.
- To understand the imaging and how to plan a revision.
- To be aware of the available solutions for revision surgeries.
This Webinar is organised by EFORT independent of any commercial educational support.

The CORE-MD project aimed at reviewing methodologies for the clinical evaluation of high-risk medical devices and recommend new designs to set an appropriate balance between innovation, safety, and clinical effectiveness.
After three years of running, this EU-funded project has produced over 15 scientific publications on a wide range of medical device related issues. From recommendation on training needs to an IT tool retrieving publicly available date on device safety notice, the CORE-MD consortium has significantly contributed to support manufacturers, regulators and notified bodies in the implementation of the medical device regulation.

Keynote speakers from the European Commission, Belgian Presidency of the EU and Scientific Societies will take part in this event. The Conference will gather researchers, regulators, notified bodies but also manufacturers and healthcare profesionnals.
Attendance is free, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you can't make it in person, don't worry, the meeting will be available remotely.
