Learning Objectives:
This EFORT Educational Webinar focus on the diagnosis, classification, and treatment of Thoracolumbar Vertebral Fractures.
The objectives of this Webinar are:
- Understand the Fundamentals of Thoracolumbar Vertebral Fractures: Gain a comprehensive overview of the causes, types, and clinical implications of thoracolumbar vertebral fractures.
- Differentiate Between Classification Systems: Learn to apply established classification systems for thoracolumbar fractures to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Explore the Principles of Osteosynthesis in Spinal Surgery: Understand the foundational concepts of osteosynthesis and how they are applied to spine stabilization and fracture management.
- Compare Conservative and Surgical Treatment Approaches: Evaluate the indications, benefits, and limitations of both conservative and surgical treatments for thoracolumbar vertebral fractures.
- Apply Knowledge Through Interactive Q&As: Engage discussions with the faculty to consolidate understanding and clarify complex topics, guided by the expert panel.
