AIOT JOINT STATEMENT ON HUMAN RIGHTS
– 12 June 2020 –

We Stand in Solidarity Against Discrimination and Violence

During these unprecedented times, leaders of APOA, EFORT, PAOA, SICOT and SLAOT want to take a stand to support the victims of discrimination all over the world. We recognize the pain, frustration and despair arising from injustices that people face every day. We reject all forms of discrimination including those based on characteristics such as race, culture, gender, religion and disability.

AIOT unconditionally believes in human rights and is against any form of discrimination. We support individuals and organizations who seek a path toward moral and political equality through peaceful nonviolent resistance and open discussion. This is a call to action for each and every one of us across the world to do more, to speak up and be part of lasting solutions. It is time to seek change diligently against systemic discrimination deeply rooted in our world.
