EFORT fellowships aim to support young and active orthopaedic and trauma surgeons. This is achieved by enhancing their professional skills through continuous education and providing them experiences on the latest surgical intervention approaches and new techniques in practical orthopaedics including trauma as well as in orthopaedic and trauma science and pathophysiology.

EFORT fellowships provide a possibility to spread new ideas and introduce fellows to local traditions, social systems and the culture of the host countries.

EFORT fellowships provide a platform to create, develop and facilitate better and stronger links between orthopaedic surgeons as well as further unite and consolidate the European orthopaedic and traumatology community.
