Abstract information

Your abstracts are under evaluation

Thank you for sharing your work with us and contributing in the scientific and clinical value of the orthopedic community. We are pleased by the high number of submissions as by the closing date of 15 November, we had reached 3912 abstracts received.

The submitted abstracts are currently being evaluated by an expert group of Scientific Advisors. You will be notified by 16 January 2015 about the acceptance/rejection of your abstract.
Please remember to register online as submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for the 16th EFORT Congress.

Submission dates: From 15 September to 15 November 2014

Submision of abstracts for the 15th EFORT Annual Congress London 2014 is closed!

EFORT does not accept resubmissions. Only abstracts submitted electronically can be accepted.

Abstracts must correspond to original, previously unpublished work.

After logging on to the EFORT portal, be sure to follow the onscreen instructions precisely as they lead you through the submission process. There is no restriction on the number of abstracts you may submit, although a total of three oral presentations and five posters only will be accepted per registered presenting author.

Please be aware that some information is mandatory and you will not be able to proceed further if you do not complete the requested fields. Please also note that you may modify the author and affiliation information of your abstract(s) directly on the submission system until the deadline given, Saturday 15 November 2013, 23:59 CET. After this date, all changes should be made through direct enquiry to scicom@efort.org. Consider your submission category carefully. If there is a discrepancy between your topic and its category, EFORT reserves the right to change the category or reject your abstract.

You will be notified by e-mail about the acceptance of your abstract(s) on Friday 16 January 2015.

The presenting author of a selected abstract must undertake to attend the Congress and present the abstract in the session and at the time designated by the Scientific Committee.

EFORT therefore requires all presenting authors to register by 16 February 2015 at the latest. Only registrations for the full Congress are accepted.

Technical support will be provided for authors of abstracts. Please send all requests concerning electronic submissions for the 16th EFORT Congress by e-mail to: abstracts@efort.org
