Submision of abstracts for the 15th EFORT Annual Congress London 2014 is closed!

There is no restriction on the number of abstracts submitted, although a maximum of three oral presentations and five poster presentations will be accepted per registered participant.

All presentations should be objective and provide evidence-based information only. The on-site presentation must reflect the submitted abstract, although updates on results may be added.

Abstract acceptance

The EFORT Scientific Committee has evaluated all the abstracts. Acceptance and rejection notifications have been sent to all submitters and co-authors by e-mail on Friday 20 December 2013. If you have not received your notification please contact us at: SciCom@efort.org

The final inclusion of selected abstracts in the scientific programme depends on the Congress full registration of the presenting author by 31 January 2014 at the latest.

TYPES OF ABSTRACTS

Free Papers

Abstracts accepted as Free Papers will be embedded in oral sessions with a specific schedule. Final details of each presentation will be communicated to presenting authors by 15 February 2014.

The best-rated free papers have the possibility to compete for the EFORT Free Paper Award. Selected candidates will be informed by 31 January 2014 and invited to submit their full free paper presentation. During the congress winners will be granted special certificates.

Posters

Abstracts accepted as Posters will be displayed as wall paper posters. The electronic version needs to be uploaded on our portal by 22 May 2014 at the latest.

Posters viewing sessions are scheduled during lunch time each day of the congress. Topic experts will lead scientific walks to promote exchange between participants and poster presenters. Final schedule of presentation will be communicated by the second half of May 2014.

Out of the best-rated poster abstracts accepted for the Congress, ten winners will be awarded the Jacques Duparc Award. Authors will be informed prior to the congress, and certificates will be presented during the official opening ceremony.
