Awards

The best-rated free papers have the option to compete for the EFORT Free Paper Award. The respective authors will be asked to submit their full free paper presentation.

From the presentations received, the EFORT Award Committee selects the three best presentations to receive the EFORT Free Paper Award 2014. The winners will also receive a financial reward.

The authors of the selected papers will be informed about the procedure and timelines for submission prior to the Congress.

From the best-rated poster abstracts submitted for the Congress, the ten best will be honoured. Prior to the congress the authors of the best-rated poster abstracts will be invited to participate in this competition. For this purpose they are asked to submit their full poster presentation.

Out of the submitted full poster presentations, the EFORT Award Committee will select the ten best presentations to receive the Jacques Duparc Award 2014.

The winners will received a financial reward and be informed prior to the Congress.

The best-rated Allied Profession papers will have the possibility to compete for the “EFORT Allied Professions Award”.

Out of the received presentations the “EFORT Allied Professions Award” committee will select the best presentation to receive the “EFORT Allied Professions Award 2014”.

The winner will received a financial reward. The authors of the selected papers will be informed prior to the congress.

The Tribology committee selects the best free paper submitted for the Tribology day to receive the “EFORT Tribology Award 2014”.

The authors of the winner free paper will be informed prior to the congress and the trophy will be handed over to the authors during the Tribology day. The winner will receive a financial reward.
